New Zealand's Fiordland region is the place to see conservation in action.

Here at Te Anau TOP 10 Holiday Park we are right behind groundbreaking conservation initiatives include rare flora and fauna species recovery programs which the public can participate in, to active encouragement for the travelling public to conserve their own impact on the planet by providing real alternative transport for visiting the region.

	The park has an active worm farm that is fed food scrapes and garden waste. This contributes to the reduction in landfill waste. The waste liquid produced is drained off and is used as a natural garden bug spray in its concentrated form and as a good garden soil conditioner and fertilizer when used diluted.
	Plastic bags used around the park are biodegradable and will break down with one year.
	Recycling areas and receptacles are provided around the park for sorting rubbish.
	Energy efficient lamps are used to reduce the amount of electricity needed to supply lighting for the park

Te Anau TOP 10 Holiday Park operates a tour bus option to Milford Sound which encourages the reduction in Co2 emissions by visitors choosing the option of leaving their vehicles in Te Anau instead of driving to Milford Sound.
